Steal!

Guess what I got that I've been drooling over since it came out!

The best part is I found it at Half Price Books for a steal at $5!  (Well okay, $5.98 plus tax.  And technically the price was more like quarter price book!)
I just looked and you can find lower priced copies here also.
Now I love me some Marthie, and I really wanted this book when I got engaged but I was hesitant to spend full price on it (last I had seen it was about $35) when all of the crafts tutorials are available on her website for free.
But of course that's not the same as having a full color, fully illustrated book in your hands!

Macaron Heaven

I just got this book and I can't wait to perfect my macaronage technique!

I love it because it tells you tips, tricks and trouble-shooting, as well as pictures of what went wrong, why and how to fix it next time.

Cute desserts require cute tools!  I've slowly been compiling the necessary tools and gadgets.  (These are shown in retro red!)
